Product Features
The smart optimizer tracks the maximum power point at the module level, increasing system power generation by 7–30%. It monitors the operating status of each PV module in real time, promptly identifies problematic modules (shading, inconsistent orientation, uneven aging, soiling, glass breakage, dust accumulation), and pinpoints their exact locations. It enhances the safety of the PV system with overvoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature protection, eliminating high-voltage hazards, and allows for one-button shutdown of module output in emergencies. It can be installed on both new and existing PV power plant systems without altering the original wiring. Installation and maintenance are convenient, and it is designed for a 25-year lifespan, matching that of the PV modules.
Replacement Steps
The following are the correct steps for replacing the optimizer; follow them strictly:
1. Turn off the PV inverter and simultaneously close the DC arc-suppression switch to disconnect the entire string of PV modules.
2. Disconnect the optimizer’s output wires.
3. Disconnect the optimizer’s input wires.
4. Replace the original optimizer with the new one.
5. Remember to connect the input wires first.
6. Test the output wires; connect them only after voltage is present.
7. Close the DC arc-suppression switch to reconnect the inverter to the PV modules.
8. Turn on the inverter.
9. Use a ammeter to test the newly replaced optimizer. If current is present in the input wires, it indicates normal operation and the issue has been resolved.
